Annual Needs Assessment - 2024
The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Building Needs and State Assessment Review is a new process for all Kansas school districts and was enacted by HB 2567 Sec. 12.
As part of the KSDE Needs and State Assessment Review, each school within our district has reviewed their Kansas Assessment Program data. We have always conducted data analysis; however, we are beginning to examine how to better analyze state assessment results.
Needs assessment and district resource needs are a discussion point at most every BOE meeting. Prior to the September 9, 2024 USD 411 BOE meeting, Board members were provided the needs assessment document (link below). This entire process empowers us to clearly identify and verify priorities as part of the district budget adoption.
